Ten casts down one cord — the tide-line taken full height.

Barnacle Fall, Ten is the long drop: ten hand-blown casts on a single semi-rigid cloth cord, warm low-voltage LED in each, dimmable at the wall. Two more than the Eight, and the extra length is the point — a full-height run for a stairwell, an entry, a double-height wall.

Blown and cast by hand in a natural mould. Dimensions, colour and texture vary from the photographs; no two pieces match, including yours.

Story

The same fall as the Eight, carried further. Ten single-pour casts strung down one cord, sized for the tall room the Eight leaves wanting.

Lit, it reads top to bottom as one gesture — the cluster stretched into a line, the amber gathering and thinning cast by cast.

The light

A warm low-voltage LED sits where the cast runs thickest. The glass does the shading: thick sections go deep and quiet, thin sections go bright, and the bark's texture decides which is which.

It is house light, not task light. Hang it low over a table or alone in a hallway and let the wall carry the glow. It is happiest at dusk and after.

There is nothing to maintain. Dust it when you think of it.
